For The Sake Of Argument
This site offers our honest and sincere reviews of the places we visit and is written without prejudicial treatment for one area over another. Others may differ from our opinions or may offer views of an area that differs from our experiences, this is to be expected for much of what is written is done so in a magniloquent tone.
This site does not accept direct advertising to eliminate any bias on our part. The ads you see on this site are controlled by a third party that remains in control over what advertisements you see on this site. This allows us to be completely impartial in relation to the content offered on this web site.
Why We Must Tell You.
There are two very distinct types of information available on the Internet today pertaining to the travel and tourism market place. All to often these two types of information conflict with one another in how a specific location or point of interest is viewed. This tends to confuse those who are uninformed as to how there are such opposing views as related to the same point of reference. Below we will look at these viewpoints and see if that can be clarified a bit.
- By far the most common of all articles found today falls into the category of purposely written content that is slanted to please advertisers and persuade readers. This information is found in many forms of writing from commercial travelogues to community chamber web sites. In my opinion, the intent of these sites is to sprinkle glitter on dung and they fail to portray the general publics true impressions from their visits.
- Original content written to inform the readers that there is another view that often opposes the commercial information that marketers are paid to include on their web sites. This side of argument is less biased as it not swayed by pressure from advertisers to portray their businesses in a specific manor.
Which of these two opposing views would you rather read when making your plans for a vacation to an unknown area?
